La Liga - Atletico release Seitaridis

Atletico Madrid have released unsettled Greek defender Giourkas Seitaridis a year before his contract expires.
"Seitaridis is therefore free to negotiate with other clubs who may be interested in signing him," the Liga side said on their website.
Atletico temporarily dropped Seitaridis (pictured on the right) and Portuguese midfielder Maniche at the end of last month after they failed to turn up to a league match they were not selected for, contrary to club rules.
Former Chelsea player Maniche has also been released.
