The National Football League may add a second game in Europe to future regular-season schedules, according to commissioner Roger Goodell.

FOOTBALL Wembley - 0

"We have discussed it," Goodell said. "Whether it's two consecutive games in the same stadium, we don't necessarily know.

"But we have a great foundation."

The New Orleans Saints defeated the San Diego Chargers 37-32 at a sold-out Wembley Stadium in London last year and the New England Patriots are scheduled to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the same venue on October 25.

Goodell added that teams would probably back the move despite one of them having to give up a home game.

"One of the things we did when we started this, we wanted to see if it could be done without negative competitive consequences," he said.

"We've been able to... and the teams have had great experiences. The negative is taking a home game away from the fans."
