Blackburn midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen has credited manager Sam Allardyce with turning around his season and that of the club.
When the former Bolton and Newcastle manager took over from the sacked Paul Ince in mid-December Rovers were in deep trouble, second-bottom of the Barclays Premier League with just 16 points from 18 matches.
"I think we were something like five points from safety when he came in," he told Rovers World.
"He has been doing loads of good things and the form of the team, and especially myself, has been getting better and better with every game we've played.
"Now we are going to try to finish the season off with a little bit of style and pride and have a good end with the fans at Ewood Park against West Brom.
"First we have Chelsea, and we can go there with a smile on our face, it is a great feeling."

shut up idiot big sam has prooven himself at bolton and newcastle and now blackburn he is a top manager who will proove himslef next season and pederson is right in what he says big sam has given the lads confidence ucant argue with that and next year we will be at the top half trust me
Think about he (Sam) is sacked by Newcastle just a few matches in charge. I think he is just lucky to have made Blackburn survive. Consider the squd he has in Newcastle, it is much better than Blackburn but still struggle at the bottom when he was in charge. He always tells how good Blackburn is after his appointment. This is kind of marketing tactics just like celebrities who wants to increase their chance to be seen on TV. Talk more than work......His playing style is so physical but not as good as Chealsea, like a Chealsea reserve team actually. I think they will not back to top half of the league next year.
Its shameful for Pederson to say "finish the season in style?" They are just above the relegation zone, maybe he get used to be at the bottom. what a shame!
