West Ham striker Diego Tristan will wait until the end of the season before he discusses staying at the club with manager Gianfranco Zola.
Tristan's deal expires at the end of the season and Zola recently suggested the 33-year-old is putting a strong case forward for remaining at Upton Park.
"It is up in the air," Tristan said. "I came with the idea of playing this season and then we'd see at the end of it. I will do my best in the games we have left and then we'll see."
He added: "I will speak to the manager and he will decide. I just hope that in these games I can keep playing well and help this team achieve their goal of qualifying for Europe."

Get rid of Tristan and Di Michelle, my goodness what a bunch of hopeless turds. Give Freddie the opportunity to play regularly in the first team. He needs a run of games. Those two clowns are just standing in the way of 'the new Tony Cottees' development.
Get rid of tristan, de michelle and moaning boa mortethere wages alone could bring in a quality strikeroh and dont forget ashton he might aswell go to. come back tevez.
yes BM out, had enough of hsi antics.. Illunga to stay, Di
Michele & Tristan can go too..
Bring back Tevez
With -2 in the goal difference column do West Ham deserve to be above Man C or to be challenging for Europe?
diego go home take di micelli and moa morte with you
I agree to get rid of Tristian, Di Michelle and Boa Morte and bring in quality strikers to score the goals that has been lacking. We have good Youth players who can now make there mark for next season also.
If West Ham are serious in taking the club forward
forget Tristian / Boa Morte and de michell.
get rid !!!!!!!!
NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!
