Nottingham Forest have been handed a home tie against Morecambe after the draw for the first round of the Carling Cup was made on Friday.The two teams have never met in a competitive fixture, but will clash at the City Ground on the week commencing August 11.

Colin Calderwood's newly-promoted Forest side lost to Leicester in the second round of last year's competition, while League Two Morecambe dumped out Preston and Wolves.
