Dagenham will be looking to upset the odds when they take on relegated Reading in the first round of the Carling Cup.The Daggers will host Steve Coppell's side, who dropped out of the Premier League on the last day of the season.
Manager John Still told Sky Sports News: "It's a great draw for us, about the best we can get.
"We'd look at that and say we couldn't pick a better draw. The local edge gives it a bit of extra spice.
"It's a great draw for the players and a great draw for the supporters.
"It's a great boost to the football club. The finances can be generated from such games and it goes without saying that we'd love to beat Reading and progress."
The tie will be played week commencing August 11.
