Brighton will play host to League Two side Barnet after the draw for the first round of the Carling Cup was made on Friday.The Seagulls knocked the Bees out of last season's Johnstone Paint Trophy thanks to goals from Jake Robinson and Dean Cox.
Brighton were knocked out in the first round last season after a 1-0 injury-time defeat to Cardiff.
The tie will be played week commencing August 11.
