Roma striker Mirko Vucinic insists he wants to remain at the Stadio Olimpico despite reported interest from Manchester United.
Speculation has been rife that Vucinic is one of the players United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is considering as a replacement for Real Madrid bound Cristiano Ronaldo.
Reports in Italy suggest informal contact has been made between the clubs for the Montenegro forward but Vucinic told Corriere dello Sport: "It's certainly pleasing that a great club like that are interested in me. But I have only heard about it from the newspapers."
He added: "At the moment I'm only thinking about relaxing by the seaside with my family.
"I've just signed a new contract and I'd like to stay at Roma."
Roma reportedly refused a 22 million euro offer from United last summer for Vucinic but, knowing they have to sell to buy, could accept 25 million for the 25-year-old.

i agree with comment 1 he or she knows what there speakkin about n yh sure united r interesterd in him n he jus said no hu wudnt wanna play 4 united
Vucinic and Ribery do not have the bottle to ply their trade in the English Premiership because it will be far too competitive for them. Even if United agreed to pay £50m, they would still not come. I would like to be wrong about this but for the present, I will stick to my views.
united don't need you either, you should be happy a club like united is looking for you.
united should sign ribery
what the hell
I think we should bring back football hooligans. Judging by the tripe most self called "football fans" spout, a good kicking might knock some sense into them. Either that, or they may be too scared to go to games, and the wannabees could go and get interested in something else.
