Sprint star Tyler Farrar took overall victory in the Delta Tour Zeeland in Terneuzen despite being beaten to the line in the final stage.
The American was pipped to the line at the end of the 195.8km second stage by German's Robert Wagner, with Australian Graeme Brown coming in third place.
Garmin rider Farrar had lost a similarly narrow sprint finish at the end of Saturday's stage, but his performances over the three days were enough to give him a nine-second victory in the general classification over local rider Jos Van Emden - winner of Friday's prologue - and Rabobank's Brown.
Final classification:
1. Tyler Farrar (USA) Garmin-Transitions - 9:10:21
2. Jos Van Emden (Ned) Rabobank - 0:00:09
3. Graeme Brown (Aus) Rabobank - 0:00:10
4. Mitchell Docker (Aus) Skil - Shimano - 0:00:12
5. Francisco Ventoso Alberdi (Spa) Carmiooro - NGC - 0:00:18
Stage one report
Australia's Mitchell Docker won the first stage of the Delta Tour Zeeland from Middelburg to Goes after beating Tyler Farrar in a sprint to the line.
The Skil-Shimano rider edged the Garmin sprint star in the final sprint, with Docker's compatriot Graeme Brown (Rabobank) coming third.
Aidis Kruopis, Francisco Ventoso and Jack Bobridge made up the rest of the six-man group which led the field home.
Farrar might have been disappointed to miss out on the win, but he leads the general classification from prologue winner Jos Van Emden, with Docker third.
Prologue report
Jos van Emden won the prologue at the Delta Tour Zeeland in Holly.
The Dutchman from the Rabobank team was 2.22 seconds quicker than team-mate and fellow countryman Rick Flens in second, and 2.88 seconds quicker than Joost Posthuma, who completed a Rabobank 1-2-3 over the 2.7km course.
2009 Prologue winner Tyler Farrar could only manage fourth-place for Garmin-Transitions, and team-mate Svein Tuft made up the top five, 3.64 seconds behind van Emden.
