Cardiff City have not received any offers for Joe Ledley, manager Dave Jones said.

The Wales midfielder, who along with Ross McCormack has been linked with Hull City, was the target of a reported £6 million bid from Stoke last summer.

Jones told BBC Sport Wales: "We haven't started 'the silly week' as we call it in football because everybody is seeing what's around, what they can get before they let people go, and we're not different to them. But we've got to be careful, we can't let everybody go.

"We don't want Joe to go, we want Joe to sign an extension to his contract and see where that leads us.

"There's still been no enquiries for Joe at the moment, you get lots of whispers and everything else, but we want him to stay and we're hoping that no-one will come for him. Joe is a good pro, he'll get his head down and he'll work hard again."

Ledley has one year remaining on his current deal at the Cardiff City Stadium and, with the risk of losing him next summer for a compensation payment, the Bluebirds are keen to tie him down to a longer deal.
