  1. Arsene did say last year when Ade and others were touting themselves around that unless you work hard then one season does not prove you are a great player because as we have seen with Ade he thought by scoring 30 goals he was too good and he and his management team thought they could cash in on a big transfer deal. No thought by Ade of staying loyal to Arsenal. Last season, when he played the whole team were unsettled. We played high balls into him, either to find he had strayed Offside, unable to control the ball, foul the defender, slowed down the attack, or miss his chance to score or pass to someone who could. Arshavin has showed us that by attacking with speed and lots of ball control, plus making quick and solid passes , we are more than capable of scoring more goals. So, Ade it would be nice for both us and you if Milan or Southend or Exeter were to make us an offer.

  2. what makes him think that he will play well in Milan if he cannot do it at Arsenal.I think he is confused. When Real Madrid pays a lot of money for Kaka, they know and they are sure he will deliver. What makes Adebayor think that he will deliver in Milan when he has failed to do anything for Arsenal.

  3. mel187 the answer to your point is that the much maligned bentner is potentially twice as good as ade and he will be bigger too. another one or two years on his tender age and you will have a prize asset. don't just listen to me or arsene wenger, check out what thierry henry said about him two years ago.

  4. cage a is basically right but all the same, ade pi*s off! any player that turns up at a champions league semi final and flicks the ball to nowhere for eighty minutes is a disgrace to any shirt.

  7. Come on you Ade haters, do you really think we are a better team without him. I must agree that when all the will he won't he stuff was happening I thought hey if you don't want to be here then leave your not worth 80K let alone Henry wages but thats the world we live in now. When Ade is playing well and hungry he is a handful for any defender, he's strong and we don't have many strong players at the mo. Wenger should keep him for at least another season, I think that that would benifit us in 2 ways. Firstly Ade will be trying his hardest due to his lacklustre performance this past season and if he scores anything like he did in 2007-2008 season then we will get decent offers of maybe 20-25 mill, then we could drive him there but we have to do it in a way that is benificial to the club. If we were to buy a player to replace Ade we would never get Villa or Benzema or one of thise super players so whats the point unless we're gonna get super cash.

  8. Seems Ade doesnt know where to go or what to do. I think he is difficult to understand because of his english. Still he did unsettle the team lately, not a good example for the young ones. Let him go and buy someone new.

  9. This is nothing but anti-Arsenal news agents trying to unsettle the arsenal family. This is very much old news.

  10. and just for the record
    2006 ... 12 starts 4 goals
    2007 ... 32 starts 12 goals(3 in the champions league)
    2008 ... 40 starts 30 goals (6in the champions league)
    2009 ... 30 starts 16 goals (9 in the champions league)

  13. what happened last year with ade was that he wanted a pay raise and clearly the directors were reluctant while ade deserved that raise after 30 goals .... we need to know how to keep our players happy ... even this season he did score 16 though he had a lengthy injury ... but he didnt ask for a raise coz he didnt perform at the same level ... then he reiterated his commitment ... remeber how we lost flamini ... he asked for a contract extension a year before and was asked to prove himself ... the next year we offered him an extension and he snubbed us ... boo boys will be boo boys no matter if its arsene wenger or ade .... for once guys lets get behind our team not after them .... and boo boys go to hell ... you lot dont deserve to be fans of any club so lay off arsene and arsenal

  20. He had one really good season, and has been touting himself ever since...top class striker? he is not fit to lick the rest of the teams boots....Milan, please take this over-rated ego, Arsenal need committed players, not strikers who think they will 'play' if and when it suits him...his goal tally for thewhole of last season says it all....
