Scunthorpe have revealed new signing Michael O'Connor should be fit for Tuesday's friendly against Winterton Rangers despite picking up a knock during Saturday's win at Bottesford Town.

The midfielder played in the first half of the Iron's 2-1 victory and received treatment at half-time after picking up a knock to his shin in his first appearance for the club.

O'Connor, a recent signing from Crewe, is expected to feature against Winterton in central midfield along with Grant McCann.

Jonathan Forte scored both goals for Nigel Adkins' side in what was their first pre-season fixture.
