Harry stick to giving The Mighty Spurs the best season for years, with new signing Kranjcar it can only mean top 6 status, Good luck
Why so serious, Martin? There must be something to that missus at the X-mas party poke. Yes, we all saw the United match. Your point? ...Arsenal were outplayed by City...Liverpool beaten by Villa & Spurs...and United fell to Burnley... Are we to believe that any of these three are no longer top 4 teams because they lost ONE game? Spurs may not breakthrough this season, but they are certainly challengers - there is no denying it! Some, if not ALL, of the top clubs will have to overcome adversity at some point this season in order to retain their position. Injuries are unpredictable. Don't forget that the Spurs were without Modric and the defense is all nicked up. I would have like to have seen Pavlyuchenko come on rather than Krancjar. How bout it 'Arry?!
Ashley B - Did you see the Man U v Spurs game!? Still think Tottenham is a top 4 team? Yes Redknapp is a GOOD manager, but would a top manager need to buy so many players that are not worth the money the clubs have to pay. As for taking a bottom club up the league - that is something a lot of managers could do with a club as big as Tottenham. All I am saying is just because he loves to talk to the press, and cant stop spending over the top for too many players is not a sign that he is a world class manager - top 10 or 15 maybe
Martin - do you think it has something to do with him sitting in 4th place with a team that was sitting at the bottom of the league last season? Or taking the relatively small club to the FA Cup final? Or that he boned your misses at the office xmas party? Ahh yeah, that's why you hate him, sorry to bring that up again.
why is SAF ineligible, it the GB team and SAF in scottish?
Hodgson has international experience, give it to him.
Why do people think Redknapp is so good? He took Southampton down, He bought Pompey the cup - after a very, very lucky run - and has spent a fortune on so many players that are never worth the money - just because it is easy to cover up his bad signings. Just look at all the money he has spent in the past on players that never got above average - but got world class money. Yes the press love " Look AT ME -I am in the news again Redknapp" but he took on a big club with good players and will not stop spending. Tell him he can only have half the players and I would bet he would not win half the games a top manager would win with the same restrictions. My 7 year old sister could find eleven good players if she could buy enough.
It's great Harry is lined up with this sort of job BUT IMHO I think he should see out his career at Spurs. We may have a chance of winning the league if we keep going!! Yes I know that's a tall order but we're in the top flight and in dbl figures (despite yesterdays shameful loss) whilst the other teams have greater depth and more money.. Stay Arry stay!
probably the best english manager around go harry go get the job done
Dear Francis, I give a @#$%. Ta.
Just out of curiousity; what was the FA agreement with the home nations that would make certain nominees for manager inelligable? I never picked up on the fact there were any any hard-driven qualification rules for coach.
