Trewick curses his luck

Hereford manager John Trewick wants to look at the film footage of his side's 1-0 defeat at Grimsby as he felt Danny North's winner was offside.

North forced the ball home at the second attempt in the 88th minute to make it 15 league games without a win for Hereford.

"I did not get a good view of it from the dug-out, but my first instinct was it was offside," said Trewick. "I need to look at the DVD, I hope it's a good camera angle because the linesman is insisting it was not even close. He said it was well onside, but I struggle to believe that.

"I'm assured by several players it was offside, so again we feel hard done by and have lost a game that we did not deserve to lose. That's the way it's going at the moment.

"I felt we had some good shooting positions and good opportunities to get the ball into the box. I felt we were getting on top and it was starting to swing our way.

"We had a decent 15-minute spell once the second half had settled and I thought we needed to get a goal at that time because something can go against you. We felt we had a good chance of winning here and to go away with nothing is very disappointing. It adds pressure to get three points next week."
