Gregor Schlierenzauer took his fifth win in Klingenthal when he won the final of the Grand Prix Ski Jumping summer series.
The Austrian ousted Robert Kranjec of Slovenia with his last jump, beating the first round leader by 0.9 points.
Finland's Harri Olli, who set a new hill record of 146m in the training round, finished third.
Overall FIS Grand Prix winner Simon Ammann skipped the last event.
"I'm a little bit surprised about my good results because I am still having some difficulties. I like this hill a lot and it's a great feeling to win here for the fifth time," said Schlierenzauer.
The new rule enabling a gate change in the middle of a competition round was used by the jury in the final.
