Leeds manager Simon Grayson has refused to put a timescale on how long striker Luciano Becchio will be sidelined with an ankle problem.
Argentinian Becchio sustained the injury during the recent 0-0 draw with Charlton and missed last week's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Darlington.
Grayson said: "We've had the x-rays and there's no break in there. I don't know where that suggestion came from.
"Luci is having treatment and we'll see how he goes. I'm not one for setting timescales on players nor do I like talking about injured players and setting targets. We'll see how he progresses."
Shane Higgs, Jason Crowe, Robert Snodgrass, Rui Marques, Ben Parker and Leigh Bromby have all been sidelined through injury in recent weeks, but have another week of rehabilitation before Leeds return to action against Norwich at Elland Road on Monday.

Paul Ince was commenting about how Leeds and Charlton seem to be able to play the same first 11 every week, I reckon he needs to "read" up on Leeds injury list before opening mouth !
