Bury defender Tom Newey is expecting a tough game when his side travel to high-flying Aldershot on Saturday.

The Shots have moved up to sixth in the table, but Newey is confident Bury can come away with a positive result as they plot their own assault on the play-off places.

"They are doing well, surprising people really, and scoring lots of goals," he told the Bury Times.

"You don't expect to see them flying high in the league but we will go there full of confidence, especially after the way we have been playing. We have got goals in the team and we know we shouldn't fear anyone."
