FA Cup - Team news: Goodison doubt for Tranmere

Tranmere defender Ian Goodison will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the FA Cup first round replay against Accrington Stanley on Thursday evening at Preton Park.

Should Goodison (pictured right, in white kit) be declared unfit, former Barnsley utility man Antony Kay would deputise in the back four.

Striker Craig Curran has not recovered from a stomach problem with Chris Greenacre set to partner Bas Savage in attack.

Accrington are without Peter Cavanagh (Achilles) and Peter Murphy (knee), while Robert Green is not yet ready after a knee injury.

Peterborough await the winners of the tie, which will be decided on the night.
