Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore remains hopeful of signing highly-rated Blackburn defender Andy Taylor on a permanent basis.Taylor, 21, is coming to the end of a two-month loan spell from Ewood Park and has attracted interest from Championship outfit Blackpool.
Tranmere matched an offer from the Seasiders for Taylor last week and, according to Blackpool manager Simon Grayson, the player favours a move to Prenton Park because it offers him a better chance of regular first-team football.
Moore said: "We're still talking to Andy and hoping it can be put right as soon as possible.
"He would be a big asset to the club."
