Alan Pardew is unlikely to make changes to his Charlton side for the FA Cup third-round replay with West Brom at The Hawthorns.Sam Sodje would have come into contention after completing a four-match ban, but the on-loan Reading defender has suffered a cut hand which will keep him out for at least a week.
Therefore Pardew should name an unchanged line-up after the side which drew 1-1 with the Baggies went on to hammer Blackpool 4-1 in the league on Saturday.
Skipper Andy Reid is three weeks away from a return to training with the knee injury he sustained before Christmas.
Ben Thatcher has stepped up his training following knee surgery but is still a few weeks away, Cory Gibbs is sidelined with fractured metatarsals and Svetoslav Todorov is out for the season with cruciate-ligament damage.
"We took a lot of confidence from the first match because we played well even though it was a draw. This game is a big hurdle, but we'll attack it in the best way possible and try to win it," said Pardew.
