Wigan star Antoine Sibierski has revealed he rejected a recent approach from Lille to stay at the JJB Stadium.Lille made an enquiry for the 33-year-old former Manchester City and Newcastle man about a possible move back to France.

Sibierski, who came off the bench to score the winner against Derby in the Premier League on Saturday, says he is happy at Wigan and has no plans to leave.

"Lille contacted me three weeks ago to ask me if I wanted to get back to France," Sibierski told the Wigan Post.

"I told them 'no' straight away, I don't want to go back to France. My family are happy living in Manchester and I'm very happy at Wigan."
