Watford midfielder Gareth Williams has admitted he is unlikely to feature this season as he continues his rehabilitation from his knee injury.Williams has recently returned from a trip to America to see a specialist about the cruciate ligament injury which has kept him out since last March but is hopeful of returning to training later this month.

He told the club's official website: "I feel like my time is almost near to come back to some form of light training, hopefully by the end of this month.

"That is something to look forward to. 2007 was my most unfortunate year of my career so hopefully this year will be more fruitful.

"If we can keep going and get promoted then maybe I can play some part in it next season."
