Premier League - Injury blows for United

Manchester United have been dealt a blow with the news that defenders Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand have been sidelined by injury.

Rock-solid left-back Evra has been ruled out for three weeks with a foot injury, while Rio Ferdinand is still struggling with the same back problem that kept him out of the victory over Chelsea on Sunday.

It is a particularly cruel blow for Evra, since he had only just returned to the team after serving the four-match ban which he received for his part in a post-match fracas at Stamford Bridge last season.

Evra had earlier dedicated the Chelsea victory to the FA, with tongue firmly in cheek, before going on to add that at least he had enjoyed the opportunity to go on holiday with his family.

  8. for the first 5 years in charge of EPL SAF won nothing­ for MUFC, but benitez already have Top spot in EPL, 3­ times semi final CL,1 FA cup, 1 CL cup, 1 super cup, 1­ League cup and all this with much low financial budget­ than the SAF.
