Chester have made more backroom changes by appointing former boss Steve Mungall as assistant manager, with Jimmy Bone leaving the club.Following the 6-2 thrashing by relegation-threatened Dagenham on Tuesday, their sixth defeat in seven matches, former Liverpool and Bolton midfielder Jason McAteer joined the coaching staff.
Now, after a meeting with club owner Stephen Vaughan, manager Bobby Williamson and several of the senior squad members, more changes have been made.
Bone, who replaced Malcolm Thomson as City's number two last December, has left the Deva Stadium and is replaced by Mungall, who originally arrived at the club in October 2001.
