League One outfit Leeds have handed a trial to former Scotland Under-21 international frontman Paul Dalglish.Dalglish, who names Hibernian, Livingston, Blackpool, Norwich and Newcastle among his former clubs, spent last season in the MLS with Houston Dynamo.

However, the 30-year-old is now at Leeds and played the full 90 minutes alongside new signing Anthony Elding in their reserves on Wednesday.

The Whites beat Rotherham 3-0, but Dalglish failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
