Disley turns heat up on Saints

Bristol Rovers midfielder Craig Disley insists all the pressure is on Southampton ahead of Saturday's televised FA Cup fifth-round tie.The League One Pirates are bidding to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time since 1958.

Disley believes that feat is achievable as Southampton, who are struggling in the lower echelons of the Championship, will not relish the Memorial Stadium pitch and are without a manager after George Burley left to take over as Scotland boss last month.

Add to that the presence of the television cameras, and Disley believes the tie has all the ingredients for a cup upset.

The 26-year-old believes the watching eyes of the nation wanting them to fail could be too much for the visitors.

"All the pressure is on them. The TV cameras are coming here for a reason and that is because they think there might be an upset," said Disley.

"We are feeling confident because we are on a decent run and we know as underdogs we can just relax, go out there and enjoy the game. There are a lot of things that are in our favour.

"Southampton are struggling a bit and they are without a manager. They won't be used to our pitch and I don't think it is going to be a game they will be looking forward to."

He added: "Hopefully we can put in a good performance and go through - and then who knows what could happen from there?"
