Southampton caretaker boss John Gorman is confident his side can squeeze past Bristol Rovers in the fifth round of the FA Cup.Gorman and fellow temporary boss Jason Dodd have yet to secure a league win since taking charge, their only victory coming against Bury in the fourth round.
But Gorman saw enough during the second-half of Tuesday's 3-2 defeat by Stoke to suggest Saints can overcome their League One hosts and book a potentially money-spinning place in the last eight.
"We need that same attitude right from the first whistle because it will be a really hard game," he said.
"The pitch is not the best and their crowd will be up for it, so we need to be ready for that - and we can't wait until we are 2-0 down before we have a go.
"We need to stand strong, keep our composure and battle for every ball, and if we do that I'm sure we can get a result."
