Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is delighted to be over his recent injury and back in first-team action.The England midfielder returned to the fray at the weekend as he played 70 minutes of the Blues' 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

The game marked Lampard's first appearance since late 2007 when he picked up a thigh injury.

"I feel very good. Mentally I am just happy to be back, training with the lads and playing," he told the Daily Star.

"I feel fresh and ready to go. It has been very frustrating.

"When you've been out injured, you can't even mix with the lads that much and you're spending long days at the training ground.

"I haven't ever had that really and now I realise what other players have had and it's a frustrating time."
