Rotherham have signed West Ham left-back Joe Widdowson on a month-long loan deal as cover for the injured Stephen Brogan.The 18-year-old arrives at Millmoor as a direct replacement for Brogan, whose season is over after he suffered a broken leg during the 1-1 draw at MK Dons.

Widdowson, who enjoyed a loan spell at Carlisle earlier this season, played for Rotherham's reserve side on Wednesday and will go straight into Mark Robins' squad for the weekend trip to Wycombe.
