Paul Goodison continued his preparations for this summer's Olympics with a seventh-place finish at the 2008 World Laser Standard Championships in Australia.
The Sheffield sailor, who only returned from a broken wrist last month, trailed eventual winner Tom Slingsby of Australia at the event in Terrigal, New South Wales.
Fellow Briton Nick Thompson finished eighth.
