- If you were one of the Sex and the City girls, who would you be?

Samantha, she looks like she has the most fun.

- If a grizzly bear and a tiger shark had a fight who would win?

The shark of course, but I would say that as an aquatic person.

- What is your favourite film?

I like different films depending on what type of mood I am in, but Field of Dreams is a film I have always enjoyed, it has a nice message.

- When was the last time you threw a punch?

My poor husband probably had one a few nights ago! But seriously, I don't throw them very often, and of course throwing one and landing one are two very different things!

- How big is your television?

We have one of those obscenely big plasma ones in our kitchen.

- Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton?

Oh Hillary, because I think a woman would bring gravitas to the position.

- Who is your ideal man?

My husband, but I've got to say that haven't I?

- What is your culinary speciality?

Anything that I would call "supper food" because I have three children, one is nearly 15, one is nine, and one is one now, so the sort of food you can throw together pretty easily like stir-fry, spaghetti Bolognese or fish pie.

- Is darts a sport?

Darts is a game, like snooker is a game. I'm not dissing it or disrespecting it in any way but I don't think you have to be physically fit to do it, and I think to be involved in sport you have to have a certain amount of physical fitness.

- What car do you drive?

I have a Lexus hybrid, so I don't have to pay the congestion charge!

- What is your favourite gadget?

Probably my iPod, with the amount of travelling I do it goes everywhere, and my phone, I'd be lost without my phone - I use its camera a lot.

- What annoys you?

I'm not good with laziness, I'm one of those people that likes you to be optimistic so I like people to think that they have a half-full rather than a half-empty glass in life.

Sharron Davies was speaking to Sean Fay at the launch of the new Speedo Fastskin LZR Racer swimsuit in London.
