Barcelona´s Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o will miss the Primera Division match at Real Zaragoza after returning from the African Cup of Nations with a left thigh strain.

The 26-year-old former Mallorca and Real Madrid hit man picked up the problem during the 1-0 final defeat to Egypt and, although he completed the match, was always a doubt for a weekend return.

"There is no muscular injury and the player will have three days of specific treatment to be ready for the Champions League match against Celtic next week," the club declared on their website.

Barcelona are second in La Liga, eight points behind leaders Real, and face the Scottish champions on Wednesday 20th February in their first knockout leg at Celtic Park.
