Player-manager Craig Brewster has called for Inverness to repeat
their impressive performance against Falkirk from earlier in the season.Brewster believes Caley Thistle's best all-round showing over the course
of a full game came in last September's 4-2 defeat of Falkirk.
Inverness have since beaten the likes of Celtic, Dundee United and Hibernian, but Brewster insists in none of those games have his players hit the heights of their victory over Falkirk.
He said: "The last time we played Falkirk up at the Caledonian Stadium
was probably our best performance over 90 minutes for the whole season.
"We scored four goals and we probably could have had a few more.
"I'll certainly take four goals on Saturday."
Inverness have not won at home since the January 5 defeat of bottom club Gretna.
Hearts and Rangers both picked up maximum points in the Highlands, while United were only denied victory by a late Markus Paatelainen goal.
Nevertheless, Brewster thinks overall, Caley Thistle's supporters will be
satisfied at how their team has played on its own turf so far this season.
He said: "We've had a couple of disappointments at home, but on the whole I think the fans will have been happy with our performances in Inverness.
"So let's hope we can put a smile on their face when they leave the
ground on Saturday."
Falkirk manager John Hughes has expressed his sympathy for financially troubled Gretna as the SPL newcomers fight to stay in business.
The Black and Whites are struggling to survive with administrators having been called in to deal with crippling debts.
In contrast, Falkirk have been on a sound financial footing since their promotion to the SPL three years ago as manager Hughes works under a rigid budget handed to him by the board of directors.
Hughes said: "I admire everything Gretna have done coming through the leagues. They have some right good people down there and they got their dream of playing in the SPL.
"It's a great fairytale but I feel for them. I feel for them and I would love to pass a message on from Falkirk Football Club that we wish them all the best."
Meanwhile, Hughes, whose side visit Inverness on Saturday, insisted the club don't yet have the profile to attract players that will enhance his squad.
Despite being in a solid position to finish in the top six for the first time since their return to the top-flight, Hughes insists he finds it difficult luring seasoned professionals to Falkirk.
He continued: "I tell you one thing, we have still not got the profile as a club to attract players here. Everyone still sees Falkirk and probably has the Brockville days in their mind.
"I don't think anyone knows we have one of the best training facilities in Scotland out here at Stirling University.
"Where we came from seven years ago and with what you see with Gretna, you have to live within your means.
"My boys have been fantastic for me. These young kids, you try and bleed them and they will tide us over for another year.
"But we want to fish in the bond for one or two next year. My board of directors have been fantastic with me and if we can go and do that then we will.
"The next step is to make sure we are playing our football in the top six and to do that I think we need to add three or four."
