Wycombe have signed Aston Villa youngster Chris Herd on a one-month loan deal to cover for Wanderers' injury and suspension problems.The midfielder, 18, has spent time out on loan at Port Vale over the last two months - scoring twice in 11 appearances - and goes straight into the squad to face Hereford on Saturday.

Boss Paul Lambert told the club's official website: "Because of injuries to Sergio Torres and Matty Bloomfield and Tommy Doherty's suspension, I felt we needed to get someone in."
