Northampton manager Stuart Gray hopes to welcome back two key players for the clash with League One leaders Swansea at Sixfields.Wing-back Jason Crowe picked up a hamstring injury at Walsall last weekend and missed the 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers in midweek.
However Gray is hopeful that he will be fit to return after a fitness test and is also hoping that former Swansea striker Adebayo Akinfenwa will be back in the side.
Akinfenwa - who has scored six goals in his six appearances for the Cobblers - missed the Rovers trip with a virus but should be back to face his former employers.
Mark Hughes missed out on Wednesday night with a dead leg but begins a two-match suspension anyway after picking up 10 yellow cards so Liam Dolman will continue in defence.
Captain Chris Doig remains out with his long-term hamstring injury and Brett Johnson is also out with his own hamstring strain.
