Fri 14 Mar, 06:00 PM

Barnsley boss Simon Davey is urging his players to maintain the feel-good factor at the club by getting three points at Crystal Palace. The Tykes eased their relegation fears by demolishing Ipswich 4-1 at Oakewell on Tuesday.

With an FA Cup semi-final against Cardiff at Wembley also on the horizon, Davey is looking for his side to secure their Championship status as soon as possible.

He told the club's official website: "We now have nine big games coming up and a huge FA Cup semi final to look forward to. Who would have thought we would be in this position at the start of the season?

"We have more points on the board and are in the semis of a competition that we were knocked out of in the third round last year.

"We have to make sure we pick up enough points quickly. We have to make sure we have enough points on the board so that we can really go and enjoy our game at Wembley."
