Chester City midfielder Tony Grant is battling to return to full fitness in time to face Barnet in League Two on Saturday.Grant has been in and out of the side over the last three months after various injury problems and the 33-year-old has overcome a calf injury and may feature against the Bees.
Fellow midfielder Richie Partridge, meanwhile, appears to have lost his race against time to overcome a calf muscle pull.
Partridge - who has scored six goals this season - has missed the last four games and despite targeting the trip to Underhill for a possible return, is likely to miss out again.
Striker Chris Holroyd (hamstring) missed Wednesday's 1-0 defeat against Bradford, with him and defender Paul Butler (foot) remaining doubtful.
