Rochdale manager Keith Hill will be without Kallum Higginbotham for the visit of Accrington after he picked up a knee injury against Stockport.Ben Muirhead replaced Higginbotham against County and will be vying for a place in the starting XI at Spotland.

Fellow forward Lee Thorpe will be hoping to return to action following an illness and midfielder John Doolan is set to return after being sidelined with a back spasm.

Goalkeeper Sam Russell is set to be sidelined for another few weeks with a broken finger and Dale are also still without long-term cruciate ligament absentees Chris Dagnall and Gary Brown.
