Grimsby Town midfielder James Hunt is back in contention for the Mariners' League Two clash at Darlington on Saturday. The 31-year-old was rested for the midweek win over Barnet, but is expected to play some part with manager Alan Buckley to decide whether to stick with Ryan Bennett in midfield.
Buckley is still without long-term absentee Ciaran Toner due to an ankle injury, but the midfielder returned to full training this week.
Danny North also remains sidelined. The Mariners striker, who has missed the last two matches with knee trouble, underwent a scan this week, but is yet to learn the exact nature of the injury.
Grimsby, who have lost only two of their last 15 league matches, could make up more ground on the top seven with victory.
