Stockport County defender Michael Raynes is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up for the trip to Lincoln City on Saturday. The centre-back continued his return after hamstring problems by appearing as a late substitute in the 2-0 win over Rochdale on Tuesday.
Raynes is pushing for a place in Jim Gannon's starting line-up but may have to settle for a place on the bench once again after a fine performance from Ashley Williams and Gareth Owen at the heart of the Hatters' defence against Dale.
However, striker Matty McNeil will remain sidelined for a further month as he has tendonitis in his knee.
Defender Jim McNulty is also still approximately a month away from a return to the first team due to his niggling ankle injury.
