Fri 14 Mar, 05:30 PM

Rochdale duo Chris Dagnall and Simon Ramsden have given manager Keith Hill a timely boost by deciding to sign new contracts at the club.Striker Dagnall, who is currently sidelined with a cruciate injury, has penned a two-year extension until summer 2010 while defender Ramsden will remain at Spotland for at least another season.

The news is a welcome boost for boss Keith Hill and Dagnall is determined to repay the faith shown in him by scoring the goals to help Dale into the play-off pack.

"Now that my future is sorted all I want is to step up my recovery, get back into full training and then hopefully grab a few goals before the end of the season to help get the team to the play-offs," Dagnall told the club's official website.
