Roeder looking for cutting edge

Fri 14 Mar, 06:00 PM

Norwich boss Glenn Roeder has called on his players to be more ruthless when they visit Sheffield United at the weekend. The Canaries were beaten 1-0 by Stoke at Carrow Road on Tuesday despite creating a host of chances to extend their winless run to four games.

"We absolutely flashed up to the middle of the table and it was to be expected that they would hit a bit of a flat spot," Roeder told the club's official website.

"We must come out of it as quickly as we can with eight games to go. We need to see how far we can finish up the table but we must remain positive.

"We need to get to the same level of performance that we had against Stoke except this time when we make those sort of chances we have to take them."
