Carlisle boss John Ward will be without Jeff Smith for the trip to Swindon while Scott Dobie is again battling to return to full fitness.Smith sustained a potentially season-ending ankle injury in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Luton and is now set to undergo a scan to determine the severity of the problem, with Luke Joyce in line to replace him in Ward's matchday squad.
Smith now joins Joe Garner (knee) and Paul Thirlwell (ankle) on the sidelines at Brunton Park.
Striker Dobie, meanwhile, is back in training after overcoming a virus which forced him to miss the last two games, but it remains to be seen whether he has done enough to earn a recall.
Fellow forward Kevin Gall has been recalled from his loan spell at Darlington and could earn an instant recall to Ward's squad.
The Blues head to the County Ground bidding to secure a seventh straight victory in League One.
