Striker Mark Viduka could return to spearhead Newcastle's bid for Premier League safety in Monday night's crunch clash away to Birmingham.The 32-year-old Australian has not started a league game since January 2 because of a combination of calf and hamstring injuries, and will be joined by Joey Barton at St Andrews after he missed last weekend's trip to Liverpool.

However, midfielder James Milner is likely to be sidelined for three weeks with the foot injury he suffered at Anfield, while Shay Given (groin), Emre (calf) and Stephen Carr (hamstring) are still missing.

Kick-off is at 8pm.
