Chris Coleman is hopeful of luring "three or four" more loan players to Coventry after persuading Kasper Schmeichel to move to the Ricoh Arena.

Manchester City goalkeeper Schmeichel became Coleman's first signing when he joined on loan on Thursday.

And Coleman is now hoping to further bolster his ranks in the coming weeks.

"We'll try as hard as we can until the window closes to improve in most positions and we'd like to bring in another three or four if we can," said Coleman.

"We're looking at all areas. I think we need bodies right the way through the team to make sure we're in this division next season."
