Martin Albrechtsen could return to contention for West Brom as they look to regain top spot in the Championship against arch rivals Wolves. The Danish defender missed the 1-1 home draw with Watford at the weekend after suffering a groin injury at Blackpool.
Albrechtsen is expected to resume training before the trip to Molineux and should be included in the squad if he suffers no ill-effects.
Albion boss Tony Mowbray has hinted at changes for the game and could opt to start with top scorer Kevin Phillips on the bench.
Phillips, who has scored 24 goals this season, has proved to be something of a recent nemesis for Wolves. He scored four times in as many games against Wanderers last season, including vital goals in both legs of the play-off semi-final.
"I will pick the team that is fit and that is going to do damage and get the result we need," said Mowbray.
"Recently Kevin has scored goals coming off the bench and that might be a potent weapon for us - we will have to wait and see."
