Icelandic international Ragnar Sigurdsson is attracting interest from England, Italy, Germany and France, according to his agent. The 21-year-old central defender is currently with Swedish champions IFK Gothenburg - who he joined from Fylkir in 2006.
He has made huge strides since his move and scouts from around Europe are now flocking to check on him amid reports he is set for a move this summer.
The player's agent Arnor Gudjohnson, father of Barcelona's Eidur, has revealed that Fulham are one of those clubs leading the chase - although the player would only move to Craven Cottage if they stayed up.
Gudjohnson also revealed other English clubs wanted him, as well as clubs from Italy, Germany and France.
"Since it is known, I can confirm that they are one of the clubs studying Ragnar," Gudjohnsen stated.
"But it also depends if they stay in the Premier League or not.
"Some of the better clubs in the Premier League as well as clubs in Germany, France and Italy are also studying him."
Sigurdsson himself admitted he was flattered by the interest being shown in him.
"Of course, I am keen to try a bigger league." Sigurdsson told Sportbladet.
"All players are, but it has to be the right club with the right finances.
"If nothing happens this summer, I really look forward to playing in the qualifiers for the Champions League."
