Holland: Survival is in our hands

Mon 14 Apr, 03:45 PM

Crewe manager Steve Holland believes his side went a long way to securing their League One safety with the 3-0 win over Yeovil at the weekend.A double from Nicky Maynard and a late strike from Tom Pope sealed a win that left the Railwaymen three points clear of Gillingham in the final relegation place.

Crewe also have a far superior goal difference to the Gills, but with only three games remaining, Holland is not getting complacent.

He told the club's official website: "It was a big three points for us on Saturday and our destiny is still very much in our own hands.

"All we can affect is our own performances and we have got to remain focused on the job. There is still work to be done and we want to collect as many points as possible."
