Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has heaped lavish praise on boss Roberto Martinez for masterminding promotion in his first full season in charge.The Swans have had a season to savour under Martinez's stewardship and sealed automatic promotion thanks to Saturday's 2-1 win at Gillingham.
Jenkins is now relishing the prospect of life in the Championship thanks to Martinez, who succeeded Kenny Jackett in February 2007.
"Roberto has brought to the club exactly what we thought and hoped he would," said Jenkins.
"The commitment and desire he has shown to make Swansea successful will probably never be matched by anyone.
"He has shown an unbelievable wealth of knowledge about the game, developed a tremendous team spirit and brought his own brand of football."
