Long-serving defender Marcus Hall has signed a new one-year deal with Coventry that will take him into his 12th season with his hometown club.The 32-year-old has made a total of 272 appearances for the Sky Blues during his two spells with the club and cannot wait for what he hopes will be a more successful season.

"I'm very pleased to sign a new contract," he told the club's official website. "It's good to get everything in place and I never had any doubts about signing."

"I'm delighted to be a Coventry City player and it's great that I'll be here for another season.

"It went a lot closer to the wire that I thought it would last season but things are in place for next season to be much better."
